Everything starts by evaluating our customer's needs. Miami FL Painters has a few options to quote projects; online, in-person and with drawings.

★ The preparation

We never apply paint without setting up the work area or without looking around for every detail. Our painters meticulously inspect the surfaces, looking for any holes to be patched, any spots to be sanded, open gaps, and stains to be cleaned or primed. Sometimes, we use painter's tape to make straight lines between two different colors or caulk between two different surfaces. We also replace or fix damaged wood and drywall. The preparation also includes the application of primer on new wood and drywall.

★ Painting

Now is the time when the magic happens, painting. Based on the type of surface to be painted, we apply the appropriate paint using numerous tools. We use a 2.5" or 3" paintbrush to cut the edges of the walls and to paint the trims, baseboards, doors, and windows. For interior walls, we use a 9" roller. For exterior surfaces like wood, vinyl siding, or stucco, we use brushes for the edges and an airless paint sprayer for the body. 

At the time of painting, we do apply the paint evenly, creating a uniform finish that will ensure no drips and a solid, nice-looking color. 

Tip: The number of coats of paint needed to obtain a solid color will depend on the actual colors. If the same color will be used, you can expect two coats. If the actual color will be changed, it will usually take from two to five coats of paint. If the actual color is dark and the new color is light, you can expect to apply about three to five coats. If the actual color is not too dark and the new color is not too light, two coats should be enough.

★ The Cleanup

Even though we are constantly cleaning any dust around the work area, we do a final deep cleanup after everything is completed.

★ Final Inspection

The customer receives the completed work.
